OCR has published this year's Eternally Set Task which lists your range of starting points - you will be given an official colour copy of this paper, however there is a digital copy below should you need it for future reference. Your teacher will talk through all of the starting points and give you some guidance on what possibilities they each offer.
You must choose one of these starting points to develop into a body of work. This unit is worth 40% of the overall GCSE grade and usually culminates in a final piece (or series of pieces) of photography or video. Your prep period will run until the second week back after Easter, when you will get your 10 hours (2 full school days off timetable) in A5 to complete your work. All preparatory work must be brought to school and remain there once the 10 hours have started, after which it is kept at school for making and moderation (websites will be locked after this point too). You will need to purchase a new sketchbook via ParentPay (or folder bought yourself) or use a Weebly site (a new one must be set up for the exam unit).
Please note - we advise students who are also taking Art to choose different starting points for either subject.
